  • Metro operating hours: The Rome metro runs from 5:30 AM to 11:30 PM (Sunday–Thursday) and until 1:30 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.

  • Number of metro lines: Rome has 3 main metro linesLine A (red), Line B (blue), and Line C (green) – covering most major tourist areas.

  • Key metro stops:

    • To visit the Colosseum, get off at Line B – “Colosseo”.

    • To reach the Vatican, take Line A and get off at “Ottaviano” or “Cipro”, both within walking distance of St. Peter’s Square and the Vatican Museums.
